In this May 19, 2013 Sunday at the Met program, curator Barbara Drake Boehm discusses the depiction of the unicorn throughout history, from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance. In honor of its 75th anniversary and inspired by the Unicorn Tapestries in its collection, The Cloisters is currently hosting an exhibition devoted to the mythology of the unicorn.

This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Search for the Unicorn: An Exhibition in Honor of The Cloisters' 75th Anniversary.
