Nam obstantia queque perfringit. huic color buxeus est. cornu longitudo septem et amplius pedum mensuram excedit ut ipsi papis et Neapoli ex defectis uidimus. a quo nec elephas tutus est corporis sui magnitudine.

AnalysisEdit

The author lived in the early 15th century and the text is the standard variation of the bestiary, but the illustrations come from the 16th, including the famous Albrecht Dürer's 1515 woodcut of the rhinoceros. Standing next to it is the Indian ass.
